The Ooty villa is an example of adaptive reuse, offering a heritage and unique experience for the guests and visitors alike. This Victorian villa, over 100 years old, is being meticulously renovated into a charming homestay where colonial elegance meets modern comfort. The restoration preserves the villa's authentic artistic expression, with intricate murals that narrate the rich history of its past. Every corner of this historic site reflects a seamless blend of heritage, culture, and artistry, offering guests a unique opportunity to step back in time while enjoying contemporary amenities.

The design retains all the heritage elements of the colonial architecture, from column motifs to vintage furniture, to offer a unique living experience. The entrance is imagined to be a rustic design with patterned flooring and vintage chandeliers. The mudroom will have interesting seating areas or antique coat hangers and mirrors to create a sense of openness. With wainscot detailing and scallop upholstery, the living room is planned to have a vintage look. The dining areas include Windsor chairs, floral wallpapers and unique mullion details. The bedrooms follow the same theme with botanical wallpapers, canopy beds, and distressed headboards that retain the old character.
